Per-key budgets, model lists, rate limits and caps
Each key carries its own prepaid budget carved out of your balance, an allowed-model list of up to 100 ids, a Requests / min limit, a tokens / min limit, a monthly spend cap in USD and an expiry, set in the console or through the key API with an admin key. Over its rate limit a key answers 429; at its cap or budget, 402. No other key on the account is touched.

Every answer returns its charge in USD, and GET https://api.relayswitch.io/v1/requests/:id/receipt gives a signed receipt for any request, streamed or not, with the model, the billed tokens and the amount. Anyone checks the signature on the Verify page, no account needed.
A public daily check that each model is the one on the label
Every model in the catalog gets the same canary prompt each day and its answer is compared with the last one. The result is public at https://api.relayswitch.io/v1/proof, read live on this page.
